This Privacy Policy describes how Robots Powered By Deriv (“the App”), developed by Dineo Disire Rikhotso (“we,” “us,” or “the Developer”), handles information when you use our application, available on the Google Play Store.

We respect your privacy. This App does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) from its users. You can use the App without providing your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personal details.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, request, or store:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number
  • Your precise or approximate location
  • Contacts, photos, files, or device storage contents
  • Financial or payment information
  • Device identifiers used to track you across apps or websites
  • Any other personal or sensitive user data

3. Use of the Deriv API

The App connects to the Deriv API to provide trading-related functionality (such as displaying market data or executing trades you initiate). When you choose to connect your own Deriv account:

  • Authentication with Deriv is handled directly between your device and Deriv's servers (e.g., via OAuth or an API token you provide)
  • We do not collect, store, or have access to your Deriv login credentials, API tokens, account balance, or trading history on our own servers
  • Any data exchanged with the Deriv API is used solely to display information back to you within the App and to carry out actions you request
  • Your use of Deriv's services is also governed by Deriv's own Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, which we encourage you to review

4. Information That May Be Processed Automatically

Some minimal technical information may be processed automatically by the Google Play platform or standard app operation to keep the App functioning (for example, crash logs or basic, non-identifying diagnostic data generated by the Android operating system). This information:

  • Is not linked to your identity
  • Is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes
  • Is not used to build a profile of you

If a future version of the App introduces analytics, advertising, or account features that require personal data, this Privacy Policy will be updated in advance, and where required, your consent will be requested.

5. Permissions

If the App requests any device permissions (e.g., storage, network access), these are used solely to provide the App's core functionality and not to collect or transmit personal information.

6. Third-Party Services

Aside from the Deriv API described in Section 3, the App does not integrate third-party advertising SDKs or analytics tools that collect personal data. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated to disclose the relevant third party and its data practices.

7. Age Restriction — Not Intended for Children

This App is not intended for use by children and is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. The App provides access to trading-related functionality via the Deriv API, which involves financial risk and is only appropriate for adult users who meet Deriv's own eligibility and age requirements.

We do not knowingly allow children to use the App or knowingly collect any information from children. If we become aware that a user is a minor, we will take steps to restrict their access to the App. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used the App, please contact us using the details below.

8. Data Security

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data at risk of being disclosed or breached through the App itself. Any technical or diagnostic data processed is handled in line with standard Android/Google Play security practices. Data related to your Deriv account and trading activity is secured directly by Deriv in accordance with their own security practices.

9. Your Rights

Since no personal data is collected by us, there is no personal data associated with you for us to access, correct, or delete. If you believe this is not the case or have any privacy concerns, please contact us using the details below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
