Balloon Powered By Deriv Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Balloon Powered By Deriv (“the app”, “we”) handles information when you use the app. The short version: we do not collect any personal data. The app provides the technology, interface, formulas, and strategies — your trading happens directly between your device and Deriv.
Information we collect: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers. There are no user accounts on our side, no email addresses, no names, no payment details, and no analytics or tracking.
Your Deriv API token: When you connect your trading account, your Deriv API token is entered by you, kept locally on your device only, and used exclusively to communicate directly with Deriv's API. Token exchanges take place entirely between your device and Deriv — your token never passes through or is seen by us.
Favorites and device identifier: If you bookmark favorite balloons, those bookmarks are stored so they can be restored later. They are tied to a random, anonymous identifier generated on your device. This identifier contains no name, email, or account number, and cannot be linked back to you or your Deriv account. Clearing the app's local data or uninstalling the app removes this link entirely.
Third-party services: All trading instructions, balances, and market data are exchanged directly with Deriv's WebSocket API. Deriv's own privacy policy governs how they handle your trading data. We encourage you to review their terms.
Data storage and deletion: All session data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is held on our side to delete, because nothing is held on our side. Signing out clears your local session; uninstalling the app removes all stored data.
Your rights: You may sign out at any time to erase your locally stored session, and you may uninstall the app at any time to remove everything. Since we hold no personal data, no deletion request to us is necessary.
Changes to this policy: We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
Contact: For privacy questions, contact the app developer through the support channels listed on the project page.
